Approach

Failure to provide required documents in the first instance results in delays. An immigration application must contain all forms, the correct fee, and many well-prepared supporting documents. In every case GIC combines a determined, practical approach allied to technical expertise, a commitment to achieve the client's objectives, high-quality service and client care. 9.	GIC sees to it that all cases are professionally presented from the start, by reviewing all information provided by clients';
10.	Drafting written submissions in compliance with legislative requirements and highlighting the positive aspects of their backgrounds.

This accepted and proven approach to every new matter, assists the decision-maker by: organising a case in a logical manner; clarifying issues; reducing the likelihood of unnecessary misunderstandings about a clients' background (i.e. qualifications and experience) that may otherwise result in the failure of an application or unnecessary delays.

As a registered Australian and New Zealand immigration practitioner GIC communicates directly with the Australian and New Zealand governments on behalf of clients. All communications are directed to GIC, and they will then advise on the appropriate course of action. Clients' are not left to interpret government instructions and regulations on their own.

Australian and New Zealand immigration law is one of the most complex areas of Australian and New Zealand jurisprudence. Immigration changes occur swiftly and are often dramatic. Our Senior Consultants have a thorough understanding of such changes and of the public policy context of immigration legislation and regulations in Australia and New Zealand, and seeks to apply the firm's total resources to every new and existing client to maximise their chances of success.

At their disposal, all our consultants have a complete professional library containing published materials, hundreds of memos, opinion letters and telephone messages from our sources. The library is updated daily. To save research time, most of our materials are now in digital format. Information about these changes is often not publicly available, informal, or hard to find out and understand.

In addition, all GIC lawyers regularly attend "continuing professional development seminars" and industry conferences held by the Department of Immigration and Australian and New Zealand Government-recognised and approved bodies. As a result they will often know of changes in the law and policy, usually before they happen and become common knowledge.
